Over the next nine months, the Co-operative Party will produce its manifesto for the General election. A new process has been put in place, which seeks to consult as extensively as possible; giving members, local parties and the wider movement a more central role in policy development.
A key strength of any manifesto is how well it chimes with people's daily concerns. This is why we have been hosting a series of online blogs covering the twelve themes of our manifesto - giving our members the opportunity to voice their policy ideas.
We will be posting new blogs every week so please continue to re-visit the site and contribute to the discussions using the comments section to submit ideas. You can also have a look at the previous debates under the themes using the links in the bottom left hand columns.Your ideas are extremely important to a successful manifesto, so make sure you have your say.
